The history of the house (Fundation date : 31 Dec 2001)
addThe Missionary Family of Our Lady arrived in Cannes in 2002.
The Villa Saint-Benoît, formerly a family home where the Venerable Anne de Guigné lived, was made available to the Community after the departure of the Dominican Sisters. It thus became a new spiritual centre of prayer and apostolate of Our Lady of the Snows. At present, seven Sisters and two Priest Brothers develop the family life "Domini" in this home and exercise their mission to all through spiritual retreats, recollections - in particular for spouses -, various activities - in particular for young people and children -, prayer and formation meetings, pilgrimages, commitments within the local Church: visiting the sick, catechesis, catechumenate, council of consecrated life, inter-religious dialogue, evangelisation of the peripheries, participation in diocesan pastoral work, such as "Mission Azur" etc.
In Cannes, a cosmopolitan city, the mission is very diversified.
